"It’s tough to develop without help…with coaching you get to see your blind spots in a safe environment.”- The Denver Post
The Coaching Model –How It Works:
The coaching relationship is a month to month agreement. We will meet, either on the phone or in person three times a month for about an hour. Meeting by phone allows you to call from your office, the comfort of your sofa, or hundreds of miles away. For local clients who prefer to meet personally, I coach out of my home in the peace and quiet of the country. Depending on the number of things in your life you would like to tackle, coaching usually lasts from one to several months, with three being a typical average. During the coaching sessions, you can expect the following from me. Think of ways that you sabotage yourself when you want change to occur and tell me which of the following appeals to you most.
- I’ll check with you weekly about your progress toward your goals.
- I’ll listen “between the lines” to offer additional, objective ideas and options.
- I’ll help you identify the barriers you throw up and the actions you need to overcome them.
- I’ll broaden your self awareness through feedback, questions, assessments and exercises.
- I’ll cheer you on toward the finish line as you focus on your strengths and talents.
- I’ll help you paint a vision of where your life can be – and then help you keep it.
- I’ll celebrate the victories, large and small and make sure you reward yourself for a job well done.
In addition to the weekly calls or visits, I will be available at any time through email. Feel free to ask questions, shout successes, get ideas and feedback throughout our coaching relationship.
